On 24 March 2018 JB Solicitors partnered with Connecting Families to raise awareness and funds for the work of Autism Awareness Australia.
Autism Awareness Australia is the leading voice for autism, with a simple goal: to improve the lives of all Australians on the autism spectrum and the families who love them.
Autism is a developmental condition that typically lasts a person’s lifetime. What makes autism difficult to detect, whether it be as an infant, a young adult or even a mature adult is that its symptoms present themselves differently in different people.
Our main message was to ensure our guests were made aware of the challenges of Autism, but we also wanted to educate our guests on ways they could spot signs and seek early intervention for support.
