- Have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in a profession, sport, arts, or academia and research. There are specific sectors that are eligible for this such as tourism, financial services, health industries etc.
- You must currently be an active and outstanding professional in your area of expertise and have a record of your achievements.
- Be an asset to the Australian community by contributing to the economic, social, cultural, or to Australia’s academic, artistic, or sports standing.
- The ability to establish yourself in Australia.
- Have any Australian visa to apply for this visa. But if you’re already in Australia, you must hold a subclass 010, 020, or 030 visa.
- Have functional English.
- Meet health and character requirements.
- You have paid back any debt to the Australian government.
- Sign the Australian Values Statement.
- You must not have had a visa previously cancelled visa or refused application.
