The Federal Circuit and Family Court Parramatta Registry at 1-3 George Street hears family law matters for western Sydney: divorce, parenting orders, property settlement and family violence orders. Parramatta Local Court at 12 George Street handles AVO applications and criminal proceedings. Both are about a ten minute walk from our door.
Probate and contested will matters are heard in the Supreme Court of NSW in Sydney. The T1 and T2 lines run direct from Parramatta Station to the CBD, so court attendance is straightforward when a matter needs to go there.

Yes. Our Parramatta wills and estates team handles family provision claims and contested will matters under the Succession Act 2006 (NSW). These claims are heard in the Supreme Court of NSW in Sydney. Eligible persons, including spouses, de facto partners and children, generally need to file within 12 months of the date of death. Extensions are not automatic, so early advice matters.
Yes. We regularly act in AVO applications and defended AVO hearings at Parramatta Local Court, 12 George Street, which is walking distance from our office. We act for applicants seeking protection and for respondents who have had an AVO made against them. These services are available in English, Vietnamese and Mandarin.
