The court’s analysis hinged on the nature of the information in question and its availability, ultimately concluding that the email addresses, readily accessible on the internet, did not merit the label of ‘confidential’.

Consequently, the court refused the interlocutory injunction, highlighting the intricate balance between protecting business interests and fostering fair competition in the industry.
